| Bio: | I have been writing since I was very young. I have followed the pursuit of crafting stories off and on all of my life, with many detours and side roads. The writing that I wanted to do became side-lined, to my chagrin. Now, however, I have the inclination (and the support of my loved ones) to finally do what it I feel I was made to do- write. And write well (at least I hope that I do...). Currently I am at work on several projects, following the work habits of one of my favorite authors, Joyce Carol Oates. I have two full-length novels under way, as well as a collection of short stories under construction. I belong to several groups, both in cyberspace and in the more tangible real life, and I am an active participant in several competitions. I have won a few awards, but I am looking to pull myself out of the ranks of the amateur and place myself amongst the working, professional writers. Beyond writing for several hours every, single day, I also perform proofreading and editorial services for a small collection of writers who, like myself, are trying to hone their craft and break into print. I hope that you enjoy what I offer here, and I invite any and all critique, with an open mind. For after all, as the axiom goes, even a bad review means that I'm still being read. |
