Unaware that her new neighbors have orchestrated the isolation, she turns to them for companionship. The secretive Braeburn family seems too perfect and alluring to be human. Despite the alarms that go off in her head she feels more drawn to them with each passing day. Especially, the older brother Tony, who has an unsettling effect on her mood. However, when Ellia learns that Braeburn’s have a plan for her, she doesn't go quietly. To complicate matters, even though Nicholas has a claim on her, Tony is the one who falls in love.

Harper Southwood thinks she is a changeling, switched at birth and dropped into a human family so her troll family could raise an attractive child. She is, of course, not really a troll--she's a teenager. She fits in nowhere, not with her beautiful family or her beautiful best friend or on this planet at all, as far as she's concerned. She has one power, or sense, which involves an awareness of when people are getting sick, but she can't sense that her mother has an extremely serious illness or her best friend suffers from a serious depression. It takes Harper dealing head on with the things she can't sense and learning to MAKE sense of them before she can renounce her trollhood and find her place in humanity. I'd like feedback about how successful I am in portraying the voice of Harper and other characters, as well as how the pacing is working--are enough things happening and enough questions remaining unanswered as you go to build suspense as to what is going to happen next?

My first novel attempt. This is about a woman transformed into a werewolf against her will. Tess has to find her way in a world where none of the rules are clear to her. She makes mistkes that risk both her and her younger sister's life. One of her mistakes takes the form of a rogue werewolf who she accidently entices into a mating dance. Plus, those that transformed her seek her for capture and study. She'll have to learn to embrace her animal or be destroyed by it. At this point, I just want to know if the story is compelling. Do the characters work? Do you want to read more?

Hello. I was thinking about what kind of summary to put here and decided that I didn't want to. I'd rather have the reader pick up what the story is about from the story itself. I just hope like all hell it isn't too obscure. I am not a huge fan of exposition without necessity. I prefer character interactions to tell the story, expose personalities and express subtleties. I hope this doesn't turn you off too much, but I gotta be me. Anyway, Let me know how it works out for you. If you want to do proof reading go ahead, but I am more interested in what you think of the characters and plot advancement (as well as how much you enjoy the story). See you around. Update: Regarding the History sections of the chapteres (yes, there will be another one in chapter one). I have a quandry. I don't want to introduce too many concepts to the reader without explanation, but I also don't want to beat people over the head with it too much. So far, I can link the History to the main text obliquly (and hopefully subtly), but I don't know how much longer I can manage that. Let me know what you think

Warning: this novel has at least four levels, is full of sex and violence, and is very fast paced. The Well of Women is at risk, as is the Tourney which Rhiannon wishes to use for pride and peace. But there are riots against offworlders, who the people blame for the rash of mother hate that is spreading through the land. And there is the mysterious Maelan--supposed guardian of the Well, whose malfunction may explain the evil that is afoot.
