LOST GRANDMOTHER

Valerie's grandmother disappears so Valerie reads her diaries and learns a lot about life in the fifties. Finally a postcard arrives so the mystery of grandma's whereabouts clear up and another mystery begins. Who's the guy in the bed and breakfast on Inis Mor? His face is on posters in the U.S. postoffices at home. Grandma is happy as a clam on the island, while the natives are enjoying their tourists. Meanwhile, a protester from Hazel's past is a main speaker at a convention for feminists in Galway. Of course, Victoria must attend, as there'll be a big reunion for Hazel and Myrna Pagan, who takes a little time off from protesting U.S. Navy bombardment of Vieques. last edited: Nov.12.
