Dvorak's Rival (First Revision)
Written by: Ann Elle Altman
This is my re-write of the Cookie-Cutter Code. Erin Brown wanted me to kick it up a notch! So here goes... Sophia Draper's a brilliant officer with the Metropolitan Police Force in London. She has caught hundreds of murderers, blackmailers, and rapists. But, there's one criminal she can't stop, a compulsive thief who steals every chance she get - herself. Theophilus Blackwell, Sophia's partner, is a great officer and husband. His colleagues knows him as a smart detective who believes in justice and as a husband who loyally cares for his wife after her debilitating car accident. Everyone, that is, except his wife. She has no idea who he is. When Sophia receives a cryptic message by post that seems to relate to a string of murders they're working on, Sophia and Theophilus must put personal demons aside and work together in hopes of cracking the code and bringing the killer to justice before the time runs out for the next victim? Suggestions Erin made...did I get it right? 1) New title...(clue to solving the code) 2) Theo has a better personality...stronger...not such a mama's boy. 3) Sophia and the book have a hook (oh, that rhymes) 4) Dialog...less stilted. (Hopefully)
